Listening to the selva is an exploration into the diverse life-worlds of forests. It is a platform for poetic witness, resistance, and resurgence. Listening to the selva is to witness the loss of connectivities: of death nourishing life and the disruption of the generative relations of seeds, soils, trees, pollinators, forest spirits, and Indigenous communities that together form the life of the forest. Listening also leads to their entangled expressions of resistance and relations that open the possibilities for resurgence.

This platform will include different sonic and filmic poetic works in currently progress over the coming months that gather together forest recordings with Indigenous expressions of resistance and defense that document the ongoing colonization and ecocidal destruction of forests and their diverse life-worlds, and illuminate possibilities for resurgent forest futures.
